  1. Go to Plugins->Add New
  2. Search for “Post Types Order” plugin
  3. Install and activate it
  4. Go to Settings->Post Types Order
  5. In settings area, you can choose the lowest user role which is allowed to use the plugin. Since the plugin only allows a user to reorder posts, you can let anyone to use it.

    If you’re not into modify the plugin additionally, you should check the “auto sort” option which will tell the plugin to take care of WordPress databases and rearrange wp-queries so you don’t have to worry about that.

    If you want to be able to see post’s new order in the admin area, you should also check the “admin sort” option.

  6. Don’t forget to save settings if you have changed one
  7. Navigate to Posts->Re-order (or do the same for any of your custom posts)
  8. Drag any post you want and drop it where you want it to appear. You can do that for every post you can see on the list. Once you change the order of posts, results will be visible immediately on your website.
